Beneficiary Advisory Service is an independent non-profit organisation that provides advice and advocacy to low-income earners and beneficiaries in Canterbury. Our team of advocates are dedicated to helping individuals navigate issues related to the Ministry of Social Development (MSD). Our team

Kaibos

Kaibos is a highly experienced senior advocate, who is personable and willing to go the extra mile to solve his client's issues. Kaibos specialises in the Review of Decision cases. 

Donna

Donna is a committed advocate who has been recently concentrating on IRD vs. MSD disputes. She brings valuable experience in examining debts around supplementary assistance and ACC back payments. Donna addresses these challenges and provides guidance on Supported Living Payment issues.

Ana

Ana is a dedicated advocate who draws on her background in social work. Ana is committed to advocating for her clients, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.

Simonette is an experienced advocate, with vast experience in the legal sector. Simonette is your go-to advocate for specialist issues. Simonette is available at the Lyttleton Outreach Clinic.

Eleanor

Eleanor is the office manager and keeps our office running smoothly with her organisational skills and attention to detail. She is also the funding coordinator at BAS, an integral part of our team in making sure BAS has the funds to provide support to the communities of Canterbury. .
